Meeting the Mekong ~ 2 ~ Cambodia ~ 2016



It was early morning, I’d run away from the city to seek inspiration from the amazing light and colours of the Mekong. I found the man alone at a sandy beach washing his cattle, I raised my cam and smiled, the fisherman gave me the nod and went back to his work, tenderly washing the cow.

An ode to life who work on the dam threatened Mekong River and all associated tributaries that bring life, or death, to the people, flora and fauna who live near the river in the Tibetan plateaus, Mayanmar, China, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. The Mekong is the most bio-diverse freshwater river on our planet.
