My father was a sign writer, pushed out by the introduction of cheap plastic signage and I’ve been known to wield his brushes for a few choice establishments. This wall, believed to of been painted in the 1930’s, is in Bitterne, Southampton, UK.

Heritage Photo Walks ~ Southampton, Hampshire, UK

Here’s a little sneaky peek of some of the photographs made on my latest Heritage Photo Walk of the medieval walled city of Southampton. My home town, the infamous cruise liner the Titanic sailed from Southampton, well before I was born I hasten to add…

You can find out more information about my upcoming Heritage walks at the fb page Southampton Photo Walks or if you would like a customised booking to explore Southampton and the beautiful surrounding areas of Winchester, or the stone circles Avebury and Stonehenge drop me a line via the contact form. Private transport and visits to the very best historic public houses for fine foods and refreshment can be happily arranged also!

Kompong Phluk and Phnom Penh

This series is an ode to the people who work on the dam threatened Mekong River and all associated tributaries that bring life, or death, to the people, flora and fauna who live near the river in the Tibetan plateaus, Mayanmar, China, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. The Mekong is the most bio-diverse freshwater river on our planet.

What lies within ~ A New Print Series ~ Coming soon

There are things a parasol can become when taking respite from monsoon rains. This beautiful parasol lies inside an abandoned pagoda on the island of Koh Dach also known as Silk Island in Cambodia. I think the square version maybe nice for a giclée print in my bedroom.
