Availability – One day only Monday March 21st 2016 – 5am – 11am with optional extension to Bayon and Ta Prohm temples finishing at approx 3pm. There are 12 spaces only available on this once in a lifetime tour.
Join us on this once a year photography tour to capture the beautifully designed wonder of the spring equinox sun-rise creeping gently to the very top of the central temple spire of Angkor Wat.
Like many of the most ancient temples and sites in the world Angkor Wats archaeology was designed with this particular cosmological event in mind, the rising equinox suns. We will start our tour pre-dawn to ensure that we are situated at the right point within the Angkor complex for this magical and inspiring event, weather willing!
As well as the chance to capture this beautiful astronomical event you will also get the opportunity to explore the wider island of Angkor Wat, the working pagodas and meet the monks for a portrait photography opportunity plus an optional monks blessing and fortune telling.
Bring comfortable footwear, your camera and tripod and sun protection.
Includes hotel pick up/drop off, refreshments, photography guidance, temple guide, optional monk blessing.
Extension to Bayon and Ta Prohm with tour guide add $55pp
Bookings are being taken NOW and we encourage you to contact us promptly to ensure your space on this once in a lifetime photography and archaeology adventure. Deposit required to reserve your place.
